2006 Big Dog K9 (Carb Model) Battery

Hi, I am running my 2006 Big dog K9 (Carb Model) with an Odyssey Battery this is one of several I have had and since talking to some people while on Holiday in California I was advised to change the battery for something better. Would any body have any ideas what the best battery is with the most cranking power?

Try the Braille 2015. I've never had an issue, and I don't keep it on a tender either....

Same here. I like to buy my Harley battery on black friday and get 25% off.

Preety much the same as brew harley batteries for me ,put a tender on it every blue moon otherwise good to go

My 05 mastiff came with a Harley batt looks like only identification number I can find on it is a 19 A. Whatever it is it's been reliable for the 117

Harley Or Deka...last I knew, Deka was making H-D batteries, so whatever one gives you a better price. Just make sure to get a battery with the good solid post. Not the type with the nuts you install. They just end up failing from the vibration.

There are dozens of thread discussing batteries Tim.
I use a Braille but as you will learn as you read, the most important thing is buying a battery tender to keep your battery fully charged.

I have used HD batteries for years and never an issue.
One of the young lads that is now riding with us (his Dad is a regular) blew up his HD battery in has 2012 Sporty 2 weeks ago...............WOW what a mess. HD are looking at replacing the whole bike under warranty as it only had 5000 KLM on it.
I replaced my battery in my K9 with a Braille last winter, boy did i notice a difference, spun that ol' compressor over without any hesitation............i am impressed.
