2005 Pitull fender question

As you may recall I picked up an '05 Pitbull in November. The front fender just doesn't look right to me. It appears to be fiberglass, flimsy and looks ill-fit. Please see my attached picture. Is this correct for 2005???

PS looking to remove the dual gas tank to color sand and buff. Any special tricks to removal? I do see that I will have to cut the crossover line as they are factory permanent clamps

I didn't think so, but wasn't sure. Looks goofy! Like to buy a nice custom to replace just hate to have to mess with painting

change it out and get it painted. you wont be happy if you dont. I wouldn't be happy with that goofy ass fender.
