First, welcome to the forum from Southwestern Virginia. You came to the right place for advise. My first thoughts on your issue is that your charging system may have failed. Check your battery. Batteries do not last forever in these Big Dogs. Next check your rotor and stator for the proper charge from your voltage regulator to the battery. If the voltage drops this will effect the EHC function. I'm sure others will offer their thoughts on your issue. Good luck and welcome

Welcome from NJ,
You will need to be more clear about your symptoms. From your description I would guess that you are more likely to have a fuel issue than an ignition problem. Since your bike started and ran well for 30 ft. my first guess would be you forgot to turn on the fuel petcock and ran out of gas. Possibly your flooding (fouled plugs). Also double check your new ignition install for any bad or loose connections you may have made. That happens to the best of us. This link may give you the info you need to fix your bike. Good Luck

Like nvcollins said, I usually start at the battery and connections then charging system, working to the coil and plugs. Often it is wire or connection...just my 2c.

MikeinJersey makes more common sense to start with the most fixable, then move to the outer trouble shooting realms.

Welcome from Florida! Hope you get it sorted out soon. These guys have some great advice. I agree with the assessment of a fuel issue from the original post.
