It has 10k miles and listed for 8500 which is the cheapest big dog I've seen in while. But even aftermarket seats like from bigdogkingpin are stupid spendy. I figure there would be something out there in the 150-200 range for just a simple cruiser seat....

Go price a Harley seat if you think BDM seats are $$$$.
A good seat is worth the money of you are a rider.
I had a perfectly functional 2-up seat but it started to bother me on longer runs -- replaced it with a solo seat from Bigdogpartskingpin and could not be happier. Of course then they came out with the seats with the built in air-hawk! Still trying to figure out how to come up with the money for the 2-up version of that for my K-9

Damn Brother! That seat is just not believable!! Slap ugly!! I have a seat on my chopper very similar to the one on bigdogpartskingpin you looked at. Very comfortable in my opinion. Looks good too.View attachment 96689

Mick, would look much better if the nose fit the tank properly.
Seat or panel needs to be trimmed.

I'm looking at buying a 2005 chopper but the seat that's on it is a god awful 6in thick touring seat with studs going down the sides that really makes the bike look like crap. I'm looking for options to get just a cruiser seat or a normal big dog 2up that isn't going to cost me $500+ because that's just retarded to pay for a seat. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

After my pleather seat turned to shit in 6 months I deskined and cut out all the foam and had Sargants reskin it. That was 14 years ago and been loving it every ride. My recommendation to you is to talk to a custom seat maker and build a one of kind custom seat. It may cost you $500, but youll be the only one in the world with that seat. Maybe even add some embroidery.
