2005 chopper seat options

I'm looking at buying a 2005 chopper but the seat that's on it is a god awful 6in thick touring seat with studs going down the sides that really makes the bike look like crap. I'm looking for options to get just a cruiser seat or a normal big dog 2up that isn't going to cost me $500+ because that's just retarded to pay for a seat. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Better get use to that. Anything BD is stupid expensive if you are in a hurry. Search around there are deals to be had. Jump in feet first you won't regret it if you get the bike at a good price. You have the seat pan already get it reupholstered.

It has 10k miles and listed for 8500 which is the cheapest big dog I've seen in while. But even aftermarket seats like from bigdogkingpin are stupid spendy. I figure there would be something out there in the 150-200 range for just a simple cruiser seat....

Alot of the seats for these motorcycles ARE bike specific. If you go to bigdogpartskingpin and enter your specific bike it will tell you what seats will work on that year & model. Good luck! Hope you score the BigDog Chopper!

I tried for like 20minutes earlier to get bigdogpartskingpin to let me enter my bike info and it wouldn't but now it is lol so this is what I found which is only $100 less then anything else I found but $100 is $100 lol. Thanks guys

Damn Brother! That seat is just not believable!! Slap ugly!! I have a seat on my chopper very similar to the one on bigdogpartskingpin you looked at. Very comfortable in my opinion. Looks good too.
