*cliff notes: 2005 Chopper thought I had a dead battery but after putting in a new battery I have no spark.

I just bought a 2005 Chopper with only 1400 miles. I've had it for a couple months but only ridden it three times. I drove it up to the bar last week and when I came back out it would barely turn over. I figured the battery was dead so I tried jumping it and then putting in a HD battery. It would turn over and fire but only stay running for a second. I trailered it home and ordered a new deka battery. I put the new battery in it and it will turn over now but won't fire. I pulled the plugs but I have no spark??? I've been searching through the forums and trying to learn about my bike and what to check.

Does anyone the wiring diagrams for a 2005 Chopper? They were on here but are deleted.
Does anyone know where there is an online service manual?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Check and see if you ignition module lights up when you switch the key switch on and hit the run button. You should have a red light when you hit the run button.

Oh don't jump these bikes off, the EHC doesn't like this. If you have to jump start, then be sure the donor vehicle is not running and is a 12 volt system.

Ok check and see if you power going to the ignition module with ignition on and run button pressed. If you have power going to the ignition module but no red light then probably bad ignition module. No power going the the ignition module then problem is likely in the EHC. Check this and let me know if you have power.
