2005 Chopper DT Sissy Bar

My 05 Chopper DT has the struts set up for a sissy bar, is there any aftermarket sissy bar that will fit this setup. If not how do they mount, anyone got pictures of one. Thinking about making one if I cant find one but need to know how they attach. Are they threaded where they go through the strut and attach with a nut from under? Does a bolt go into the bar from underneath? Inquiring minds want to know!

Try Ginz choppers or it might just be called Ginz. If you have 2 round holes in your struts the bar slides into the holes and 2 bolts screw in from the bottom of the struts.

Thanks, I checked their site, didn't see any for mine, just 07-up w 300 tire. I'l have to give them a call.

But that's perfect, I do have the big hole in the struts, so it is just drilled and tapped on the ends and bolts in from underneath , that's what I wanted to know. My strut holes step in, so I'm guessing the ends of the sissy bar that go into the struts are also stepped or taper down ? Thanks for the insight!

Contacted Ginz, they can make one for my 05, nice. I think I might try making my own, and see how it comes out. Worst case, it looks like garbage and I order one up. Best case it comes out good and it only costs me a few bucks.
