2005 chopper air ride options

So I have a 2005 chopper. It was lowered to the point of no return. The stance the bike has in my opinion is quite beautiful, but comfortable it is not while riding Oklahoma roads. So what are the best economical options out there? Anything self contained out there for under a grand? Will the evo softail kits work? Options, need options!!! Been on google and seeing over 12-1500 which if I'm stuck with 1200 I am, but I'm cheap and if I can save some and have more money left over for not big radius pipes and a thunder cycles air breather I'd like that a lot!!!

Soft-tail shocks work. But you'll end up with a taller ride height, to get comfort

I had a 05 Bulldog with the air ride option and now have the adjustable shocks on my 09 Mastiff and like them much better, I mean it looks cool when you park the bike and slam it to the ground and all, but the adjustable shocks are a much better ride and not such a pain in the ass, but if it's looks your after then the air shocks are prolly the way to go.

air ride is nice but seems like I am always having to retighten the nut on the hose. It is a good ride though.

I'm back and forth now, got my fat ass on a diet and with the 12-15 pounds off its getting better anyways but I just like to have options. Thanks a ton guys!!
