2005 Big Dog Ridgeback

I have an 05 RB with 117" Super E carb with a D&M style ultimate flow style air cleaner; runs great.

Question does my carb have restrictor plates to reduce air flow for EPA reasons or other restrictions ?

Plenty of power but seems like everyone goes to the Super G?
No complaints with the way it is just curious.

unless somebody has opened up the restrictor plates or changed the intake manifold, yes, it is an EPA restricted motor.

Unless you bought it new I bet the plates have been removed as where mine,,,

yep...my 05 had them...i switched to the super g and really could not feel a seat of the pants difference...you can port or open the restrictor plates.

the reason i say open them up is if you remove them you will have to change manifold to take up the removed plate and gasket.

I also have an 05 ridgeback with an e carb. I bought a g carb and sent it to xxx yesterday. Also getting the intake and heat spacer from them. Should have back next week. Curious to see what the difference will be compare to my current e carb setup.
