2005 big dog chopper

Looking for some information on replacing a control module from wire plus on a 2005 big dog chopper. I see wireplus is no longer in business and no one has the module anymore. I been looking. What options are there to replace this? or do I need to add a thunderheart and be done? Thanks for any info

Someone on here may have a wireplus module they might sell.....but if you cant find one on here you will have to go with a axels ehc from wildsteedworx.com or you can purchase one on ebay from him also....also you need a new main wiring harness which bigdogpartskingpin.com has those....your basically looking at around 800.00 bucks to fix it....

Reason you will need a new main harness is because the factory ehc plug got cut off for the wireplus setup so that harness is now trashed...

Honestly its not a bad job if you have mechanical skills....several of us on here have had to do a repair like this so there is all kinds of people on here that can help walk you thru it...

But also another thing is something wiped out your wireplus power module and it can be from a shorted battery or voltage regulator or both....not saying that it wasnt a short in the wiring but alot of things need to be looked at before hand so not to burn up the new system if you choose to go with this system

First make sure your issue requires a new EHC. Have a person with Big Dog experience troubleshoot your problem to be certain your not going in the wrong direction. If need be another option is https://shop.bigdogisback.com/2005-ehc-replacement-system-gen-1-mastiff-chopper/

I guess you are talking about the R.I.P kit which is made by thunderheart....the rip kit comes with a new harness cause it has a different ehc plug than the stock ehc plug....yes you can run that if you choose too
