2005 & 2006 RIDGEBACK USE THE SAME GAS TANK?

I just need to know if the 2005 & 2006 RIDGEBACK USE THE SAME GAS TANK?

From my knowledge, Nope. Two different tanks. In '06 they were the same style as the newer ones. :up:

Yes,you are right, i just checked the tank i got and it has two mounting points and the one on my 2005 has four mounting points.

So i will have to sell the complete kit i got:down:

Ah.. If there was an emoticon of one sticking it's tongue out and going pffbllt I'd use it right now. That's no fun. The '06's look a bit better than our '05's I think.. but it's a completely different mounting system.

The 05 Ridgeback used the same tank as the chopper the 06 Ridgeback had the same tank as a K9

I had the same prob with the two tanks(on my 05 Ridgeback)....unfortunately i didnt realize until i had the new tank painted for my 05.......damnit! Think i may knock off the rear mounts on the frame, tap the frame and use the newer tank. I think i can fab a set of tabs that can mount where the original tabs were using the new tapped hole. that way i can use both tanks. gotta look into this a little more, but seems possible from what i remember. figured that the dealer would have ordered the correct tank to begin with...... f&^%$*
