Take the tiny set screw/screws out of the bottom of the housing near the chrome ring. The turn the chrome ring counter clockwise until it comes out.
I have seen rings that you can spin with a rubber strap wrench from the outside and rings that you can spin with a special wrench. You can take a brass punch, small flat screw driver, or a spaner wrench to remove if you are very careful.

If you are not careful like me, use brute force and rip it off. Then replace it with an Adjure of your choice.:D

Ridgebacks Rule!

The small hole at the front contains a 1/16" allen screw.
It holds the smooth chrome ring from vibrating loose. Some masking tape on the ring may help give traction to turn it.

Behind the smooth chrome ring is a flat ring that holds in the headlight. It has three holes around it. I used some large nails (2) and made some blunt points that fit into the holes. The ring screws out counter clockwise. (anti-seize when you replace it)

If the bulb is not the problem... well, one thing at a time!:)

Happy Motoring!
