I have taken your advice and found a bike from an actual business. I am going to make an offer on this bike but before I do I was wondering what you guys feel would be a fair “make offer” price. I sent them an email and was told that the shipping to my house would be $650.00. It has a few minor blimishes that they show in the pictures, and I have not heard it run.

An 04 with 15,000 * miles. Woa - Is EHC updated -eliminated ! Lets see if a local BDB member can check it out for you.Look threw the community find a member-send him an E mail or PM.
I'd wait till auctions end- no sale - then offer him $8K and see where it goes from there.
Winter time is the best time to buy-but its only December.
Good Luck Tim

Seems kind of high for an 04. I'd keep looking, and find an 05 Ridgeback to get the 300mm rear tire.

That’s what I thought also. I offered them $9,000.00 but they refused it. I really like the 05/06 Ridgebacks but have seen some prices that are way out there. I will keep looking, it’s still really early in the year so I still have time to find a good deal.

One thing I noticed that is a good feature is the bike is listed as as with the 117 engine (per cc's speced) If that is so it should be a non molested engine with correct compression, cam etc. The 117 was a option in 04. But if it is I would make to much to do about it to the dealer because they prob don't know. and yes the price is to high. Make a offer you feel comfortable with. If ya don't get it there are plenty more to choose from.

JayG, don't rush it. You have pleanty of time before next riding season. Keep looking until you find exactly what you want for what you want to pay for it. There are deals out there.

If you want the 300 rear tire, don't settle for the 250, because you will wish you had gotten the 300 in the first palce. The bike you want is out there, just keep looking until you find it.:2thumbs:

Agrees with Reaper on this,,, a bit to high , and go on and get ther bigger rear tire. Maybe the bigger motor as well for close to that price.
