2004 Ridgeback wont turn over

My 04 ridgeback wont turn over. Starter and battery are good. Battery cables are good and tight. What happens when the EHC goes bad? Any ideas what the problem might be?

While looking at your EHC turn your ignition switch on, what light or lights come on? Next while looking at the EHC, push your run switch and see if any lights come on at the EHC. This will at least give us some hints...

When i turn the key on all the lights light up for a second. The yellow light stays on and a green light blinks off and on. When i press the run button a red light comes on.

Sounds like the EHC is bad. You're only one of the many, including me that has experienced this problem.

could just be the circuit board in the switch housing.

you can check it by pulling the connector for it under the tank. then with the key on, using a grounded probe touch the run wire then the start wire. if it starts then you know its the board.

you'd have to check your manual for wire color codes

My local dealer said to take the cover off the solenoid and push the plunger in with a screwdriver. Had the ign switch on, pushed the run button and then pushed the plunger in. Nothing happened, bad starter?
