How do I get this apart? Everything from the banjo bolt at the Master cylinder is blockage free, but there is no lever resistance and I can't get any fluid down the line to the caliper. I filled the Master and tried slowly pumping the lever for a half hour and nothing. The lever still flops around loosely

Give us a little background. Did you rebuild the master cylinder? Did you have brakes before and then lost them? Are you getting bubbles when you slowly pull the lever?

Knows some things
What year?
What has happened is it has sucked air. 04's were bad about it because the hole inside, was drilled in the wrong place. And if the fluid was low, and you squeezed the brake handle while it was on the kick stand it would suck air. Other years would do it too, if the fluid is to low, but the problem was corrected in05.
The front brake will actually bleed itself. Move the handle bars so the master cylinder is as level as possible, fill with DOT 5 brake fluid. If you used any other fluid, it will cause your problem too, and you will have to rebuild it.
After filling with the correct fluid, gently squeeze the handle. You will see bubbles come up. Keep doing this till you have brakes again.
