2004 Master was running fine plugs have always looked great then it started cutting out on low-end runs OK hierarchy pulled plugs are covered with black soot

Sounds rich or idle is to low causing it to do that which intern with low idle it will become to rich.....needs to idle around a 1000rpm....some people lower the idle to hear the hit of the engine and this will happen cause of that...if thats not the case air fuel mixture screw needs a slight adjustment possibly to correct it

I’m thinking carb needs cleaning maybe something in intermediate jet carb is adjusted right I cleaned air filter put new plugs runs better for a day or so then starts running bad again pull plugs and they are covered in black soot vacuum caps look dry and cracked will try new vacuum caps today

new plugs-- did you put the same brand/heat range plugs back in?
cleaned air filter-- K & N ?? too much oil on the fabric?

New vaccum caps will help. Buy the silicone ones. They last a bit longer. And buy extras for the tool roll.
