2004 Chopper Ignition Module

Okay guy, I need some help. Should be easy.

I can't seem to locate my ignition module?? I am not the original owner of the bike, and I have been correcting half ass work since I"ve owned it. Got her running good, but just cant seem to find where the ignition module has been moved to??

I believe it should be mounter under the seat, on the rear fender???

Pic included - its not there--------

So what options are really remaining???

It looks like it should be where those two holes are on the fender.

The original one was mounted under the seat. It appears that your's has been replaced with a integrated unit. Take the cam cover (2 little screws) off and look in there:

Mine was under the cam cover just remove the 2 little screws

Damn - I've been looking on this forum for over a year and missed anything about that, smh.

I'll definitely check this out tonight. I haven't had issues, I was just being proactive.

Is there any advantage to the new vs old??
Is the new one better if replacement is needed - as I heard the old one is no longer available???

Yes, the new ones are typically single fire (but depends on unit and coil as it is configurable). You can adjust rev limiter and advance curves.

Mine is a single fire but can be adjusted to dual depending on the coil
