2004 Bulldog some questions

Going tomorrow to look at a 2004 Bulldog with 800 miles on it. Guy selling says it has a 200mm rear tire. Spec shows it came with a 250 rear tire? is he correct? Also said he had a relay added to fix the electric issue with the EHC ( not sure that's the correct term but its the electrical problem some dogs have)
Thanks for your help guys.

800 Miles :loony:

The bike shouldnt had any issues with that low of miles. Make sure you look it over.

A owner who only put on 800 miles probably doesn't know crap about the bike so I wouldn't worry about the tire size issue.

Question him on this "relay" thing for the EHC...sounds odd.

Take a look for the original tires -- probably still has them even though the originals are too old to use.

Was he the original owner?

Take some pictures and let us know the price before you pull the trigger. We will help you out. This one sounds great but he is going to get screwed on the price. What a waste of a dog. The poor pup has been sitting on the poarch this whole time  so sad

ok bike looks awesome, but it is a 200MM tire. Kinda looks like a low profile. Wonder if it could be changed to a 240?

I wish I had more money.
Are we talking about the boxer you put the photo of in the other post? Boxer or mastiff?

Sorry guys my mistake. I thought i was looking at a Bulldog, and turns out it is a Boxer. Still a very nice bike with only 800 miles on it but really want a bulldog. Thanks for all your help.

Hello, new to BDB. I am currently searching the country for a Bulldog. I had been looking at 2007 models and they have 300 rear tire.. I stumbled on an 04 I would consider pulling trigger on. Wondered thoughts from some BD veterans on year preference and very interested to know if I could put 300 rear on the 2004 Bulldog (seller says its possible and bike needs a new rear tire)

Feedback as to pros and cons from anyone who has experience with 240 vs 300 ride... Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum, you should actually go to the introduction section and post up a proper intro, follow the link.

As far as putting a 300 on an 04 bulldog...anything is possible, but It would be a challenge and very costly..

Brad, might want to go to introduction area and do a introduction. Tell us a little about yourself. It will go a long ways here. I bought a Bulldog in February and sent it out to get some upgrades and work done to fix the issues before they arise. Good Luck.
