Hi guys,
Here are a few pictures of the bike taken today, nice weather here in Brussels...
For those who haven't read my previous posts, I am looking for a way to "rejuvenate" the look my 2004 Bulldog.
Mainly I want to add a better headlight, different bars, taller with less pullback and maybe a small headlight fairing to hide the fact that I am fitting taller bars.
Have any of you tried something like that? Any ideas if it will "work"?

As an extra question, I have some trouble with my front brake master cylinder, I am thinking of switching controls to PM since my original BD electricals have long been replaced by a minimalist setup and I dont need the buttons anymore, unless there is a master cylinder rebuilt kit available? Has any of you rebuilt a BD master cylinder?

Thanks in advance!

F.

Knows some things
The problem with the 04 front brake master cylinder, was it was the first year for that style, and the hole inside was put in the wrong place. It was changed for the 05 model year. What happens is, if the fluid is not all the way full, and it is sitting on the kick stand, and someone pulls the brake lever, it will suck air. Front brakes self bleed, so fill the master cylinder with the bike upright, and gently squeeze the handle until the air works it's way out.

You might want to take a look at the Windvest small windscreen. The come in different heights and can also be further adjusted for height. I have also added an led headlight and some ‘wrap-around’ turn signals to keep it ‘clean’

Thanks! I know it won't please everyone, but after riding it butt stock for 15 years I felt it was time for a change. :)

I decided against the ness fairing for the time being...

It needs to be recut, adapted and properly painted, and I'm not 100% sure about the look... plus there will be no time for all that before the summer.

In the meantime I will go for something more "bates" like for the headlamp, maybe performance machine "apex" or "clean" but with a led element, difficult to get hold of here in europe.... In the picture it is a recup sportster headlight

The bike has been in the shop for way too long and I am getting antsy. :)

Here's with the PM headlight, we are going to make the support a bit shorter...

We are still expecting the MW billet top motor mount and dual coil bracket from zodiac to finish the whole thing, everything is taking foreeeeeeeeeever, but the bike should be running next week...
