2003 Chopper Update

So I picked up my '03 chopper back in Oct. in Tulsa, OK. Put 700 miles on it cruising around the Ozarks and back home. Bike was extremely clean and hadn't been ridden much; only 4K miles. Got home and realized the shocks were in need of a bebuild and the rocker gaskets were leaking. Sent the shocks to Works Performance and they did a complete rebuild and replaced some "missing" part inside. Took them 4 weeks and cost $150.00 which didn't seem too bad. I sent the carb to Bob at XXX for an upgrade and he had it back in two days looking awesome! Replaced the TH ignition with a Twin Tec and put it back in the nose cone. Replaced the rocker gaskets and threw on some new tires. The bike fired up on the first try and runs f'ing great. The difference between stock ignition/carb and this setup is night and day. Feels like a completely different bike. Supposed to be 50 degrees this weekend, so I might get to go riding!
