2003 Chopper sissy bar and struts

Does anyone have a 2003 Chopper with the factory sissy bar and struts? I am looking to add one but as we all Know they are not available. I have the Rolling thunder frame. Has anybody fabbed up a custom bar. Also being that this year did not use a lot of BDM parts is it possible to find something that works from another manufacturer?
