Hey fellow dog riders, and first of all thanks and any help is appreciated, just got my dogg out of the garage from its winter slumber and after cleaning her up and checking fluids went for a ride and all seemed well until just after getting her home went to move her into the garage and she suddenly died out reset key switch and restarted and she died again and I mean dead no lights nothing battery voltage was good but turn on key and nothing, In the light of day pulled out electrical schematic and found ignition module had yellow led lit when key on. after troubleshooting key switch and wiring and connectors and cleaning battery terminals bike now is working but I am freaked out. going to Phoenix bike week in two weeks need to make sure bike is reliable, couldn't find any shorts or obvious bad connections. Do these modules have a lot of issues and can or should they be replaced. This is the module that supplies voltage to the EHC.

just went through the same thing took me 8 weeks to get a new module
from BDM ,new battery, rebuilt soleniod, I think I have a bad wire in started....not sure if this helps but my old module is yours, I think it is good
you can have it as a spare my next move is a wire plus ...and new starter
I have also installled a push button start on the solenoid cover, that is how I start it now let me know if you want the module
good luck

I had a similar problem with my 03. The wires coming out of the key switch go to a small connector. Check the pins and sockets inside that connector. I had a pin break and it caused an intermitent problem.
