2002 PitBull Questions..

I might be able to pick me up a 02 pitbull for dirt cheap....
I was just wondering if anyone here has one this year with this motor set up...
Has there been allot of problems with these? I know its a rigid but for the price it would be a nice toy... If you guys say so...

I have had mine since new. It has never let me down and the motor is solid. Just rolled 10k and starting to look into changing cams. This was also the first year for the fat tire for the completly new pitbull. All harley style grips, pegs, switches and pipes will fit. I also extened the controls with stock parts from Thunderheart for minimum $.

Work that was under warrenty was the speedo, gas tank (small crack), seat replaced & the rocker box (rear) that just started to leak a little.

I do have a 107 S&S motor and 5 speed. There was an option that year for a TP motor or a 6 speed.

I have a 2002 Pro Sport with the 107 and 6 speed, and it runs real good, so far the only trouble I have had is the front bearing went. I think those basic set-ups are strong.

Found out the other day that my 107 came with a 600 cam so I'm now looking at doing some head work to spice it up.

My 02 bulldog has the same motor and cam plus a few mods runs like a raped ape. Like Salty said they used alot of Harley parts then so mods are reasonable.
