2002 Husky

Hey everyone, Im new to motorcycles and I have a few questions if you dont mind. I posted this message on another forum as well, just figured I would ask as many people as possible.
I have been looking at Big Dogs for quite some time now. Ive done research and got prices on insurance, pre-approved ect...
The other day I stoped to look at a 2002 Husky w/ 3400 milies on it. Bike looks like its in great shape, custom bright orange paint w/ silver and black tribal hand painted pinstripes. Bike sounded AWSOME! Any spec things I should look for? Guy is asking 16900 and KBB is only 15500. I understand upgrades like the paint add to the cost. Miles seem pretty low which im hoping is a good thing.
Anyone have any pro's/con's or experiences they could share about one of these?? Id like to hear more about it from people who know before I pull the trigger on this one. Thanks in advance!

That price blows! Paid 13,900.00 for my 04 Pitbull from the original owner with 3500 miles on it. The guy is dreaming!

I paid 15,000 for my 2000 Husky with lots of mods. Has 107 S&S lots of bling.
I think if you like the bike and it fits your price range, go for it. Sure there is better deals out there but if it works for you go for it. The mileage is low and you want to do a VIN check with a BIG DOG dealer to ensure all the service bulletins and recalls have been done. Get all the history you can on the bike and you will be in a better position to make a deal. The husky 107 was and is a very fast bike. I've got close to 10,000k on mine and is still going strong. I get lots of comments and most important I really like the way it performs,sounds,looks and drives. Go for it.:2thumbs:

ps If you like I can get all the history on the VIN if you shoot me the number via private message or call Tanya at the BD Dealer in Burlington Washington.

Good Luck

Well KBB is 15500 and NADA is about 15000. Custom paint and exhaust, plus had the heads refreshed, i can see where hes at.

Sounds like you're talking yourself into it, HHHMR. :)

...and, that's OK. You're the one who gets to decide if it's worth it. :up:

If it's fast and cool, the price is right for you and close to KBB/NADA, then it sounds like a good deal.

Mr. Triple H;

Good job and way to act! :2thumbs:

I really like the paintjob (change the pipes) and I have yet to see one like it (change the Pipes) It looks well cared for (change the pipes) and ready to ride! Nice to see the DOT sticker (change the pipes) is already removed. I think you're gonna be one dang happy man. By the way, are you considering any mods, say like new pipes??:D :D :D
