Just clipped the 2000 mile mark and my dog is running fantastic. Just had the latest side cover upgrade installed and as usual no problems with the dealer.

Great little story: buddy and I ride out yesterday stop at a local water hole. Half dozen Harleys of course no dogs. Two beers later several other riders pull in I got like 10 dudes staring at the K-9. One guy sticks his head in the door and yell's who owns the Big Dog. I nod my beer and he yell's fuckin awesome. My buddy who owns a sweet Roadking himself looks at me and just shakes his head. I tell him it happens everywhere. So, I buy the next round:cheers:

get used to it. Your harley friends will soon become annoyed with all the attention you get. Mine did. They can spend thousands on their bike and they still all look the same

Gotta' love it!!! Soon women will be throwing themselves at you and people will hand you money because of your "status".........A Bigdog Owner.......okay, so I exaggerate......but the attention is awesome......:2thumbs:

The attention is a bit surprising at times - keep an eye out for the "lurkers" that follow you on the freeway, in the next lane over and a bit behind, just so they can watch you ride. They can be a surprise during a lane change.

It is not at all uncommon to see someone in the next lane roll down a window, snap a pic with a cell phone, and then roll up the window again - still have not see the boob display, though.

Here's one of my favorite incidents - I had just rolled the P8RIOT Puppy onto one of the ferrys we have here in Puget Sound - they route all the motorcycles together up in the bow, so we can offload first. Several other bikes of various types followed us aboard, including some guy on a chromed up Harley. As Mrs. P8RIOT and I were getting off the bike, removing helmets and gloves, I eventually turned around and saw the Harley dude standing about 10 feet away holding up his camera - and he waved his hand sideways as if to indicate he wanted me to move out of his picture so he could get a better shot of my K-9! I just grinned and moved away. :D

My favorite story happened in downtown Pontiac (mini-Detroit).
Dropped the wife at a bar called Whiskey's and went to look for a "good" place to park...

Coming back around, the bouncer and owner(he's got a '56 Panhead) invite me to park my bike IN the bar :2thumbs:
... and bought the first round for me and the OL...

That is customer service... :D

:2thumbs: Makes ya feel good !

Yeah .. the lurkers on the freeway are funny. Had a guy do that last Saturday for about 5 miles and then pulled up beside me, honked and did the ":D + " Makes your ride pretty fun.

Then again, last year in December I pulled up for gas and was wearing my skull neomask, Dad in the mini-van next pump laughed and pointed me out to his little boy .... who got scared and started to cry.

That's hilariaous! :D Sounds like the first time I saw Raywood roll up on his black chopper, face covered and looking all bad-ass - though I didn't notice any kids crying!   (Just kiddin', Ray! :D)

Here's another one - 4th of July, just after the big fireworks display ended, everybody leaving - got caught at a stoplight, right in the middle of the crosswalk, with throngs of people flowing around us. Some chick tossed her camera to her boyfriend, then posed in front of the bike, with me and my wife just sitting there waiting for the light to change - then she turned around, smiled, and asked if it was all right - and away they went with the rest of the croud. :D
