Thanks Lambo and everyone else for the great info, I have these same questions on another site and not one single answer and it was posted several days before I found this site!

Lambo,

What year was your Husky? and I'm guessing you got the bigger swingarm and rear fender from Daytec? Also I looked at the photos of the shocks and I don't see the adjustable (turnbuckle type) nut on the rodend, but at lease I know to contact "Works" and see what they have for my frame. Love the internet!

Cain,

Ill be sending a PM, thanks!

Hi All,

Just put a deposit on 2000 Husky and have some questions?

1) Has the 107 changed from the one S & S sells today? Cam & compression?

2) Can the 2000 Husky be lowered?

3) are the rear shocks the same as HD softails?

4) is there a service or wiring manual available for the Bike?

5) Is there any different rear fenders?

6) any chance to get a paint code for the bike like you can do with cars?

Thanks,

1. Case castings have changed, internal shopld ber the same. .600 cam 9.6:1 compression, roller rocker arms. super G carb, 29.5 intermediate jet, 70 main.

2. Anything is possible within reason.

3. No

4. I've got one, wiring is basically the same till 2004.

5. Catalogs are full of fenders, just make sure the width is right, some modification and drilling required.

6. What color is your bike? They didn't have paint codes per se, but I know they used to use specific blends of PPG paint for the sheet metal and powder coating.:zz2cents:

Dogvet,

the bike is yellow with no graphics, I was hoping to get another rear fender and paint it, if its close no one will be able to tell its been repainted, if it don't match close enough then the bike comes apart and repaint for frame (yellow) and tins. also if I have to I can keep the old fender unitl ready for repaint, winter of course!!

So bacially the S&S motor for sale today is the same as in the Husky except the Cam, I was hoping for that compression ratio just in case I'm out in some states that have crap gas. Also does this motor have compression releases? I looked at the top of the heads and it looks like my old softail with 80" evo, not really sure what they look like.
