2000-2002 EHC Repairs??

Hi everyone, i have a 2002 mastiff and have a mate with a 2002 bulldog.
I am an electronics tech and was woundering if there is a market for people wanting there standerd Thunderhart EHC repaired?
They seem to be prone to a few faults and i beleive that if i can safely remove the PCB board from the plastic housing and gel sealer then i could actualy repair these and replace the the faulty components with "up-rated" ones.
I know there a aftermarket replacement kits and alot of people say to pull it out and rewire....BUT, is there BD owners that would want me to do this?

I cant speak for the 2002 years I have a 2004 and would be interested.

I would need an "old" EHC that someone has replaced to try and pull apart first.
Is there anyone that is prepared to send me one for that series of bikes?
they are only small and wouldn't cost too much to send to NZ.

Ignition Module

Mine stopped working after I got caught in a thunderstorm last week. Bought a used one for $150 yesterday. I would definitely have preferred a cheaper fix.

When you put that new one in make sure you put dielectric grease in all the connectors.
