2 up seat worth it?

Energy One
Yes they are worth it over the P pad. Wider and more secure. Sissy bar is a must too
Have had other bikes, but nothing with a wide tire. 180 max, and the seat options were a lot greater, as far as styles, thickness etc. This is what has led me down this path, as I was not sure what you all thought of the driver lumbar support, or passenger comfort. In other words like the old skool king and queen seats, they had a taller back rest.

But with the width of the 300, giving the passenger a wider seat, which kind of resembles seats you find on your baggers/touring bikes. Obviously around town cruising is one thing. But logging some long miles is another.

Thanks everyone, have a bitchin weekend!

Someone on here has added a back rest/support like found for harley drivers to their seat -- I'm sure someone will pipe up with who did that or maybe a search might find it.

The two up seat with a sissybar is also great for securing a duffle bag. The added benefit of the duffle bag is I lean back a bit into the bag and it takes some pressure off the lower back for a more enjoyable 500 mile ride and then the same the next. Also have a seat ready for the unexpected passenger. Get some Gel in the seat and add some custom that compliments your hound.

Looking forward to retirement
I had a phantom suction cup pad for Colleen back around 2006 - 07. It ruined my rear fender paint. I bought a 2 up and had it gel padded for her. She loves it. My upholstery guy repadded the factory pan. He cut the rear back support deeper for me also. My solo he built me I absolutely love.
