Right on.... thanks for input. Been researching on this topic.Yes they are worth it over the P pad. Wider and more secure. Sissy bar is a must too
Have had other bikes, but nothing with a wide tire. 180 max, and the seat options were a lot greater, as far as styles, thickness etc. This is what has led me down this path, as I was not sure what you all thought of the driver lumbar support, or passenger comfort. In other words like the old skool king and queen seats, they had a taller back rest.Yes they are worth it over the P pad. Wider and more secure. Sissy bar is a must too
Someone on here has added a back rest/support like found for harley drivers to their seat -- I'm sure someone will pipe up with who did that or maybe a search might find it.Have had other bikes, but nothing with a wide tire. 180 max, and the seat options were a lot greater, as far as styles, thickness etc. This is what has led me down this path, as I was not sure what you all thought of the driver lumbar support, or passenger comfort. But with the width of the 300, giving the passenger a wider seat, which kind of resembles seats you find on your baggers/touring bikes. Obviously around town cruising is one thing. But logging some long miles is another.
Thanks everyone, have a bitchin weekend!
