Well i did it! Sold my wifes Mastiff for a 2009 Coyote and she loves it. Says it handles like her old V-Rod but more power and alot cooler. In the past i have posted alot of information on my 2006 K9, but traded it for a 2009 Bulldog Bagger. I will keep you posted as i accumulate the miles on the Bulldog as to performance, problems, and overall experience. I was not a bagger guy until demo days when i rode the Bulldog and WOW, what a bike.:D

As far as the value, little stuff did not any make any difference, but carb, seat, clutch, wheels, paint, on an 06 helped hold the value.

Wow, I love that bagger. What a ride it is. What do you think of that motor? Pretty strong isn't it! Lets see what paint you have, post a picture. :D

Awesome congrats!!
I am on the fence between an 06 mastiff and 09 coyote.
The specs seem the same. What advantages does the coyote have over the 06 mastiff?
Obviously the warranty. What else?
Enjoy the new toys :)

The major difference is the handling. The Coyote is like riding a V-Rod. Handles really really well. The Mastiff is a hand full. The Coyote is also lighter which means faster. Easy pull clutch is another added feature.

Here is an update:
The bad news; i got 400 miles on the bagger and heard a noise coming from the primary. Guess what, no oil in the primary from the factory. F**K! The good news; called the BD dealer in Omaha on a sunday afternoon, (and they answered) and by 10:30 the next morning they came and pickup the bike. Took it apart monday afternoon, called the factory, and the factory is replacing the entire primary. They also paid for the 500 mile service, gave us some shirts, and fell all over themselves saying how sorry they are. I know that this kind of stuff should not happen but kudos to the dealer and factory for making it right. The bike will be delivered Thursday morning. I also installed mean mothers mufflers on the bagger and it really sounds great. As far the Coyote, so far it runs and rides great. It's a fast bike because of the weight. Fun to ride!:2thumbs:
