Oh, if those caps are gone, yeah you will notice a HUGE differance. May have to re-adjust the carb....or not? Keep a set on the bike if possible. They can and will pop off in the middle of an otherwise great ride. You can always find em @ a Auto Parts store.Wow! Super helpfull. I noticed those vacuum caps where missing. I actually ordered some last night coincidentally. I'm getting them in today. Thanks. Hope i can get this thing running right.
When you put the plugs on the carb get some real small zip ties to put on there to hold them better. Good luck with it all!Wow! Super helpfull. I noticed those vacuum caps where missing. Easy, and trouble free. Take a piece of small diameter hose, and loop it from 1 fitting to the other, if you're not using them for anything. Or, better yet, you can remove them, and seal the holes with JB Weld.Wow! Super helpfull. I noticed those vacuum caps where missing. I actually ordered some last night coincidentally. Good to know. Yes. Performance was pretty bad and carb tuning nearly impossible. Got pretty dialed in nowDo not block the overflow. It should have a small hose running down below the frame. Yes I keep a few caps in my tool kit. I like the idea of just a hose between them. Bike runs bad when they fall off.
I haven't read that, but it's probably worth the cost of some canned air to find out. Good to knowHave you read up on failing cam/Crank sensor . Has one or the other depending on year. But when they are on there way out they generally like to fail when the engine is hot, then function again once it's cooled down . Some have got some canned air given it burst which cools it rather quickly as test measure. Not sure this is your situation but it's a known issue. There are members that will have first hand experience with them.
