1999 ProSport - Oil Dipstick

1999 ProSport and wondering:
Dipstick and rubber friction plug is approximately 3 1/2" long not including the chrome cap
- chrome rod has an indicator ring 7/16" from end and than another indicator ring 2 1/4" from end
- where should the oil register on this rod for the level to be with-in normal operating range?

Checking with bike on side stand

Any advice is appreciated.

hi don...do you know how much oil the engine holds? my 107 holds 3 qts. when i changed oil i used the 'scavenger' system. after it was all filled i took a needle file to the dipstick to mark it. that way you'll always know if you are low or over full. hope this helps..

In between the 2 marks. I run mine on the high side to help cooling. hope this helps
