Meant to post this last night and forgot too but this is where u have to drain the oil from the oil tank, if anyone every has to mess with one of the old bikes...if you look where my index finger is this is where the oil line goes onto the frame with a clamp...just a stud welded onto the frame by the swingarm slide the hose off and drain and put on and tighten...oil filter is up under the bike behind the transmission View attachment 66760
That's how Harley does it, my softail is like that only difference is they put a threaded plug in the frame at the end of that hose. Glad you got it changed :)

Well didnt get much done lastnight as i been still working crazy hours at work but did manage to install the new patriot 2into1 exhaust lastnight but still have to make a bracket off the frame for a rear support...thank you Mr.Wright for leading me to these exhaust pipes they do fit the image of the bike...and they do sound good...and the floor boards will clear with ease also20190802_115002.jpg

I like your bike. You may know this already but, that is a rubber mount motor, exhaust needs to shake with the engine. Careful how you mount exhaust bracket to the frame. Mine has a bracket mounted to the transmission.
