Hey all, I was getting bored already with the weather here in Missouri getting cold and rainy. I needed something to work on so I ordered Low Down's 12K HID headlight kit! First off I have to say "Nice Job". this kit is simple and I was impressed on the price and ease of installation. Here is the procedure.
First off, loosen the small allen grub screw under the trim ring to remove the outer ring.

Next, after removing the outer trim ring, carefully remove the inner ring.

Don't use any thing sharp to poke thru the holes or you can cut the rubber Oring inside the inner ring. I used a dulled 90degree pick to unscrew the ring.
Once you remove the inner retaining ring, put it aside and don't lose the big Oring.

Pull the headlight out of the bucket, pull the plug off of the old headlight socket and put the light to the side.

Take the spring off of the rear of the headlight and carefully remove the old light bulb. I saved mine just in case I have some issue with the new kit. U know not to touch the bulb with your grubby fingers so I won't remind u not to!
Next, you'll need to cut a bigger hole in the rubber boot on the back of the bulb carrier to allow the new bigger bulb assembly to slide thru.

Next plug in the three prong plug into the headlight bucket receptacle.
Then place the ballast and wires into the bucket carefully. I had to take the plastic relay(I'm assuming it was a relay)
which is the black piece zip tied to the ballast, off of the aluminum ballast in order to get all of the items to fit back into the bucket and able to reassemble the light. I made sure all of the wires and connectors are out of the way and nothing is pinched.
Once everything is back in the bucket, reassemble as you took it apart. I always put a little antiseize on the trim ring threads so it's easier to get the ring off next time. Don't forget to reinstall the small grub screw on the bottom so the whole damn thing doesn't come apart when you are riding.

The light needs to burn in for about 3 minutes so be sure you leave it on for a few minutes to do this. I got the 12K HID which gives off a nice brilliant violet light! I aimed the light down slightly so it doesn't blind my buddies when we ride as it reflects off of their mirrors!
