I currently have the small sissy on my bulldog but would like a bigger bar for traveling. Should I go with the 12 or 18in?

I have the 12" sissy bar on my Bulldog and I wished I had gotten the 18" sissy bar. I have been trying for months to find one with no luck. IMO, the 18" bar gives the bag more support, especially since my bag is taller than my sissy bar. It's up to what you like and what size bag you intend to carry as to what's best for you.

I have the 12 with the luggage rack. It works for me, not sure how much or what you are looking for.

18' with luggage rack for me I run a tall bag off the back for the weekend runs, and have strapped 2nd bag to sissy bar and sits on 2-up seat.I have packed as much gear on the K-9 as my last electra glide.

I have a pro-street and use the 18 inch but only for carrying something. When not using it to carry for a long trip involving overnight stay, no bar nor no passengers!

If one already has the struts, they can make the bar and have various ones, fairly easy. More than a few on here has made their own!
