I am hearing a popping sound in the front forks when I hit a bump in the road, it is not all the time. Any help on what can cause this will help. The sound is a loud pop but does not do it every time. it is worse on large bumps.

Get the front end up in the air and check the neck bearing to see if it is loose. Also see if you have any play in the forks, triple trees,,fender, fork brace, and wheel bearings. I have heard that noise a time or two when the front brake rotor/caliper has been loose.

Everyting Bobby said. For me, I have had issues with the front caliper mount coming loose at the fork.

:cheers:Welcome from Louisiana.

I get the same sound going slow on big bumps. I am going to take Bobby's advice and look for it one day.:D
