09 bulldog map

i need a .bin file for a 09 bulldog

i have a 600 cam
high flow air cleaner
ported heads
ported throttle body with intake manifold port matched
stock bottom end (piston's)
i have a AFR meter and im running so lean its insane
(dont worry im not riding it like this, just a start up)

tried finding some on the s&s website but i cant find one thats close to my specs for me to alter the tune..

anyone able to help me at all?

you might try one of the older big dog businesses in your area to see if they can help you. the info you need isn't floating around here I don't think.

Call S&S for information.

Your stock S&S ECM is probably LOCKED so you won't be allowed to change any tuning maps. You may have to purchase another UNLOCKED ECM to reprogram the fuel and ignition maps to fit your modifications.

i work at a big dog dealer, i have a unlocked ECM

we have a few maps but nothing major like this build here

S&S has been contacted with no luck

If you have an unlocked ECM, It will likely self tune to your mods. You can also modify the base map with protune if you know its off to get it close and then let it self tune form there.

Tom Hampton from S&S has been great about helping me with mine. I do have an unlocked ECM.

my ECM is unlocked,

so problem!!

after hooking up my S&S to protune it popped up with the serial number like it should,
but its saying i have like 10 fault codes

like
TPS
air temp is like 500 degrees
shit like that

and i got the factory map from S&S and it wont upload to the ECM or download any info off the ECM

it wont even let me view the live gauges!

WTFFFFFFFF!!!!!

bike runs okay but wont idle

but its saying all of this when i plug in the ECM

and this bike has a wire plus kit installed about 6 months ago.. ran great after the install

How long after the wire plus install did the rough idle start/ no idle. I had the same problem after installing the wire plus on my efi 07 bulldog.

I had the same issue of not loading gauges, and files to the ECM.

It turned out being an issue with my computer. I really have no idea why, but I used a different laptop and I am able to flash files and read gauges. Everytime I use the other laptop, I get the same issue.

I have learned protune is very fussy. I will not work with windows 8 either.

Look at the thunder max site for a base map.

You will have to use the info to build a map.

I had to do the reverse for my S&S 124 as tmax did not have a map for it at the time.

Yeah I'm going to check out the laptop and see what's up, and I was using a cheap serial to usb adapter also

About 2 months later the bike wouldn't idle after the wire plus install

I have never got those to work. I have an old laptop with a serial port that I have to use.

Yeah It will let me hook it up and make the computer reconize the unti but other then that I get nothing!

I will have to pull the ol desktop out with serial ports lol

You might try Tim @ Gateway Big Dog in St. Louis. He may be able to help you. I have had him dyno tune mine a couple of times and put new maps in it after cam changes with good luck.

Make sure you have the speed and parity correct on the serial to ecu connection.

I do have a base map for a unlocked S&S VFI module with a 600 cam, S&S single bore intake, 2 into 2 big radius exhaust and other minor changes. It is a box file not a bin. Tom Hampton also sent me a base map that is pretty aggressive on the fuel, if interested.

As for your serial issue, here is a good video from S&S.

During the video they specify two types of serial adapters that work, give one of them a shot.
