Has anybody seen one of these yet? How did they handle the transmission offset for the 330 tire? Any change in belt size?

seen one but didnt look to close. thats a big ass tire. its like flat in the middle. i dont think it looks as good as the 300

Belt size is the same, I think they just offset the transmission with that Lay-Z-Boy seat!? :roll:

The tranny side door is thicker which brings it out more too the right.
It is bad ass looking and it doesn't handle too bad either.

I got to see one at the dealer a few weeks ago. I like the tire width but I'm not sure about the diameter. It seemed small.

I would like to ride one and compare it to my K9. I also like the way the fender
hugs the tire

The 17" tire is kinda different, not sure about that, the couch that they put on it for a seat would have to go and the tire width is crazy. The 330 has a differnt profile to it, it almost looks like a beach ball on the back of the bike. I wonder if the wide wide tire craze is starting to come to an end? Escpecially with the addition of the Pitbull with the taller 280 rear. I guess time will tell how they both go over.

I don't think it will ever come to an end. I think that the Street Rod influence and muscle car craze will always fuel the wide tires in choppers. I think what your seeing come to an end is the competition for the widest tire. These guys have found the "ridability" limits of tires and are not going any further.

Just like the 2008 Ridgeback with the 330 tire. When you have to sacrifice looks (going from 18" rim to a 17" rim) which is what the wide tire is all about, to get the ride quality back to what the 300mm tire is, then it is stupid for a builder to even try to manufacture such a bike.

If they could run a 18" rim and do the 330 tire and sacrifice a little ride quality, then that would be up to the buyer to purchase it or not, but don't build a ugly ass bike just to have the largest tire on the market.

well i sat and compaired the 330 to the 300, side by side at the dealer. and i tell you the truth, with out a ruler it is all most impossable to tell the differance in rim size. the #1 eye catcher to me was the LARGER seat. that to me was what changed the balance (look) of the bike. as more the guys came in we discussed the rim size, no one realy noticed the 17", again is was the larger seat. i think if they went back to the orginal size seat (small) then the ear end would look even larger. for me, i would have loved it if that 330 had been put on a K-9. "Skully" would have been sold or traded in a heart beat. plus i could have gone back to my orginal tag "WIDENUF"

I test drove one and I can tell you that the seat may not be easy on the eyes but it sure is comfortable. Other than that it rides just a good as my 05 RB.

I personally rode one and it rides just as good as a 300 tire bike. Everything is balanced and you can throw it around just fine.

I am with you, too dam big and you know the ride is going to be even harder on the back. 250mm was plenty big, I bet the 330 is going to be hard on sharp turns.

Nobody notices the 17" rim at first, because they all notice the width. After it's pointed out, it's noticeable.

Second. Sit on one. If your a tall guy you'll appreciate this bike.

Third. Throw on an American Suspension springer front end, a Baker open primary, air ram intake, Martin Brothers exhaust, and trim it out with a tool bag and some chrome accents. Now with that 330 ridged rear you have one nice hardcore chop

Our local dlr (3+ hour drive) is saying to use the big ugly couch for long trips and to use the soon to be released thin seat for barhopping and around town.
