08 RB not starting

I was riding about 2hrs, made a stop came back 20min later and bike wouldn't start, both blinkers would flash and what I assume to be an error code flashed on the speedo, no. 49438. Bike would not turn over, battery was fully charged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

battery is probably below the 12.8v needed to crank. try manually depressing the compression releases after the speedo cycles and see if that helps any.

I got an '08 Ridgeback. Mine displays the number 49438 every time I cycle key switch (power). I don't have a service manual, so not sure what it means. I have read the owners manual, and do not recall it explaining this anywhere. Mine seems to operate fine, so I ignore it. My blinkers flash when I do not have enough amps to crank the engine, and it "locks up". There are some sharp folks on here, someone will know. Sorry couldn't be more help.

VR or something with the charging system not charging battery.Might have been riding on just battery and caused it to go dead or maybe not pushing run button first.I am not trying to be a smart ass about the run button,someone had a brain fart and forgot.just a thought.good luck:)

that's a (correct) calibration code for the speedometer
