Don't know if I like the black...or the RED cone....but I have a black cone for him that would fit perfect...lol..nice bike though....but a little steep.....

It came blacked out....Don't think it had the spike on it.

I'm not saying I don't like it, it just that I like chrome better. It is a sweet ride but that breather got to go.
Gosh, I remember when we got those in. Yah, it was blacked out minus the spike.

I had ta go back to the original post to see that breather. You're right, that red thing kinda ruins the whole "blacked out" thing, 
Marky Marc's black spike would look a whole lot better, I think !

I don't like it with the cone facing upwards. Is it supposed to be that way. I have mine facing forward.

Never heard of pointing them backward. Seems that pointing forward causes performance problems at speed. whereas pointing up makes em run fine. But I don't have a spike, so I can't honestly say !

Allot of post about that over the years. Some say it runs smoother with the spike up. It's more of a preference. I have ran the spike both forward and up and didn't notice a change in performance

I can't imagine that it would cause a performance issue. I agree it's just personal preference I like it fwd and out of the way. More like hot rods like I come from.

I had one on my 05 bulldog and if I ran it horizontal it ran like shit, vertical it ran great, it came off and never went back on, BDM air cleaners only for Cdoggy!
