07 k-9 on e-bay for $11,800 bin

There's a 07 k-9 on eBay for $11,800 bin. Guys says it turns over then locks up. Clean looking bike. I'm sure it's nothing we couldn't figure out. With turning over then locking up sounds like just a jacked up starter. Damn good price. I would post a link but doing this on my iPhone at work.

It could be something simple OR it could be nasty in that engine. Things like dropped valves or worse.

Thanks for posting the link. Even if you had to rebuild the top end it's still seems like a good deal wish it happened next month I would jump on it for sure.

I'd have to agree with MN 09.
When I bought my 04 Mastiff, I got a pretty good price $12500. But I found out later, there was something clunking around in the area of the primary cover. Took it off and found that the drive gear had way, way too much play in it. It allow the gear to contact the back of the case. Had to put in a spacer (previous owner either left it out or it was missing). That took care of my problem. I suppose if this K2 had the same problem it's possible the gear is contacting one of the retaining bolts to the inner case. I would get that primary cover off ASAP.

craigs 07 k9 did that on the weekend and we just pushed started it , it did not fire but it turned the motor over a little and then it started easy. i think it is a low battery and it was in the wrong part of the stroke . it has not done is since. fingers crossed.
