Hey Guys I have a chance to buy a 06 k9 with around 5 k miles for around 14.5 k or a 07 k9 with around 5.5k miles for 15.5 k
Is their any difference between the 2 bikes with the motor or bike setup? Here a picture of the two bikes the 06 is white and the 07 is blue...

Nope other than the newer one may have the EFI option. Happy hunting and welcome to the site

I thought the rockerboxes are different, some members say the 07 boxes are better

The 06 shows TP boxes. Raywood has more miles than any of us and has had good luck with the TP's.

With that said, several people (me included) have had trouble with those boxes. An 05 Chop that I have had sevierly worn exhaust valve guides at 4,500 miles. I'm partial to White and the boxes would not sway my decision but you should go into the deal with the knowledge that you "may" need to spend extra on the 06 (roughly $600 - $800 if you wrench yourself).

Hope the info is helpful.

I like the darker model, white shows dirt to easily...:D I'd go with the 07, but that's just me... Good luck with your decision...:2thumbs:

You might want to also check the rear fender struts for the sissy bar holes, the 07 has a better chance of having the holes and being chrome.

07. Why get something that's a year older? Bikes took a big enough hit in resale when bdm closed. May as well get the 07 as it will have a little higher resale.
