06 K9 speedo question

Took the K9 out for ride today while driving looked at speedo saw trip indicator button gone must have fell off anyone have this happen to them and how do u fix

Yes, this also happened to me. I called autometer but was told it could not be replaced as to the way the speedo is laser welded together. I've been looking for something to replace it with but have not found it yet. Maybe somebody else here has a fix for this.

looking at ur website i bought my transition glasses just got them in there great i didn't see speedo i would have added on

mine recently fell off too, just the top, the other part is still stuck on the glass.
I think several other people have had this happen also. I think someone used a vacume cap from the auto parts store.

Thank you for the inquiry. The Big Dog speedometer was designed for an OE application under contract with Big Dog. As per our OEM contracts, they would be responsible for service and repair. Unfortunately because of this, there are no repairs that we can do for your gauge. The Big Dog speedometer used specific parts that are not used in other gauges. Because of this, the Big Dog speedometer is not serviceable. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I have had some feedback about odometer button replacements for the OEM speedometer that was made for Big Dog. The button that was used on the BD speedos is no longer used in our products. Our current speedometers use a button that is sonically welded to the lens.

Due to the overwhelming demand for a replacement button, but lack of direct replacements, we have put together a quick and simple write up for installing a Pro-Cycle speedometer in place of the OEM BD speedo. I have attached the write up to this email. Let me know if I can assist you with anything else.
