All the bars for a K-9 are set up for a 300 tire so should work just fine.

I would contact your dealer though and have them check your sissybar for tightness. I think it was 06 BDM replaced a bunch of them on the K-9.

my pad on the bar has fell of twice at high rpm. the screws were tight. i guess vibration from motor. pad slide down and then off bike, both times people pulled me over to tell me it fell off. missed fender both times. any ideas on keeping that from happening?

Put two sided tape on it keep it from sliding down.

I would think that sending the bar out to have it re-chromed would be cheaper than buying a new bar.

Just a thought!

I know if you look at 07 k9 it has the same struts that the 06 has, so if you can't find an06 sissybar try an 07, Iam also looking for a 06 k9 sissybar. Bigdog's website only sells the struts with the sissybar for 06 but if you look at the 07 they sell it without the struts. Alot cheeper
