06 K9 Ignition switch parts number

Is this the right parts number for the ignition switch for 06 K9? Thanks, mine is going bad, and need a new one. Found one on EBAY for 89.00.

$89,- ???? Sounds like 10x what's it worth. I believe that switch is common with a lot of other machines, lawnmowers, tractors, etc etc. Do a search on here, save yourself the money.

Several of us have changed out our BD switches because the keys would no longer stay locked in or could be started with any ole key (easly could be stolen). Here's the key assembly that we've used. Not too expensive and works great! You can also drop by your local tractor supply company, if ones near you...

WSW will be carrying a keyless setup in the next 2-4 weeks.
Uses a Fob and RFI and works off of proximity.
While it won't be cheap cheap it will solve the key issue once and for all.

Thanks for the help! I think I'll probably go with that ford tractor switch for a quarter of the price. (even though its through derek and donna) I actually already ordered it after a captan and coke last night, but thats alright, I'll probably still put in the ford switch. NOW, is it pretty straight forward to put that sucker in? I pull the ignition cover then what? Thanks guys, dang bike died about 20 times on my 130 mile trip today.

FOLLOW UP: I put that ford ignition switch in tonight, I'll let you know If it dies at all tomorrow.

Assumption

I'm assuming the tractor ignition switch works fine? You never got back to the group after your ride.

I'm replacing my switch now, and being gouged for a new one... wish I would have known!
