06 k9 ignition location??

Can anybody tell me where to find the ignition module on my 06 k9?

Under seat on the right hand side. That silver thing with the two bolts in it. Note you want have the three electrical connectors, this is a picture of a WirePlus install that I did for a friend.

so I take it that the twintek electrical ignition that I bought wont work?? The bike shuts down randomly and the mechanic said its the ignition. Any thoughts? Thank you very much by the way! It has three external

Twintek make different ignitions. Did you gwt a twin cam model

The ignition is an external twin cam ignition. It has three cables to external plugs. It looks like it should be plug and play, but it looks nothing like the existing ignition. The common idea around us idiots is that it looks as though it replaces the ehc and everything. It has multiple dials on it that are adjustable. I'm so lost I cant find north on this thing.

Thunderheart has .pdf files on your original ignition. It's pretty simple actually. Two wires from the crank sensor, three from the coil and three to power. Just match them up with the Twintec wiring diagram
