I've got an 05' Ridgeback and haven't rode the back over the last couple months other than once just to move to to another house we moved into last month. Always starts fine with no issues. I don't use a tender and never replaced battery over the last 2.5yrs.
Went to start it today and I turned the key and gauges and everything lit up as it always does (bright as usual) and when I hit the start button it sounds strong and turns over but only turns over for about 2 seconds. Doesn't even sound like it makes 2 full cranks. I go ahead and change out the battery b/c it's prob due anyways.
Still won't start. Does the same exact thing. Only other indicator I can see is that after it cranks over the turn signals start to flash.
Hoping it's not the starter. I always thought that when a starter dies it usually shows some signs over a couple starts instead of DOA one day.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
