05 ridgeback no ign lights

so as above..turn key on and all I get is hazards and non stop horn..

thing is I rode the bike no probs parked it up now this..

turn key and all ehc lights come on 3 sec pass then horn etc starts and lights change.

has a brand new battery,starting to get so sick of these problems

Was the battery given a full charge before you started using it?
When the hazards are going e.t.c. have you tried starting the motor?

Yup battery is also on a battery tender..have tried starting it but nothing.
Press run and still nothing

Did you try the standard stuff i.e.,check the battery connections, make sure it's getting charged when the bike is running, etc....?

Soooo...

Turns out to just be dirty leads...cleaned them up tightened them up and no problems since. .

Ok so just an update. ..I think the ignition problem was due to a faulty battery. .

Finally sorted that and it was still cutting out while riding..
Hit run and it would kick into life.

So I stripped tank and everything off and went over all the wiring and found the ignition wires under tank had been rubbing..

Finally after blaming the ehc, , ignition module etc etc it was due to a crappy connection. .

Just thought I'd share that in case someone else has this problem
