05 Ridge Back cold start

When i ride on cold days i have to let the bike run at idle for about 30 min for it to run right. its very cold natured and will spit and sputter until it gets good and warm. Does anyone have this some problem and is this normal?
I'm not running a oil temp gauge so i don't know the temp when its starts running good.

not sure about the temp but I usually let the jugs heat up to the touch and take it easy for about 5 miles (thats to the gas station) are you using the enrichener? It will foul your plugs real easy if you are.

Also have you re-jetted or anything, mods?

I tried running the choke a little for a mile or two but it does not seem to make a difference. it has been re jetted when the new pipes where installed.

The enrichener should only be used just to get the motor to fire if it won't start on its own. Shouldn't ride with it on

Do you know what jets ya got and are ya runnin a E or G carb?
