05 Pitbull won't turn over

I have a 05 Pitbull, put a new starter and battery in it rode to work,when it was time to go home;it wouldn't start acting like it wants to roll over put just wouldn't roll it over ; checked the battery it is good .kinda acts like the compression release isn't working . Got to looking at the wiring harness and it's got some issues going on any ideas

Compression release is easy to check put your finger over the release and hit the run start button you should feel the compression released engage.
Battery is good ? What is your voltage and have you had it load tested ?
What kind of starter did you replace it with ? New ?? Etc ..
What are your issues with you wiring harness ?

My suggestion is start with one thing and eliminate things. Your all over the board . It could be multiple issues but it’s usually something Minor !
Why was the starter replaced in the first place ? Sounds like you were having starting issues before ? Which may have not been the starter and you may have thrown $ into new parts that wasn’t the issue .

True on the starter it was a bad battery then it started two or three different times till I rode to work then it wouldn't start it acts like it going to but then it won't turn it over checked the new battery it is good. So I was checking the wiring found a couple of groundsthat were not connected ,and found several wires that are clipped .the speedo is in pieces and the solder connections for the tach and insturment cluster are all broke off . (runs great when it starts) replaced the black box with the green light 3 or 4 of yrs ago ,it melted and caught fire.have rode a couple of years since that with no probs till now. ( I pulled the plugs and it turns.) it over

Well from what you are describing you have more than a starter issue.
If your harness isn’t in tact and that “little black box” referred to the ehc is damaged I recommend you go with axles ehc sold by wild steed work or docs esc by dead one customs both are quality replacements with new wiring harnesses.
Honestly it’s hard trying to diagnose what is wrong with your bike.
What controller are you currently running ?
Ehc stock, wire plus etc..
Do you have the service manual ? This will give you the schematics to what wires are cut . If yours is stock! They are available on the forum in e copies .
I would start by looking at the schematics.. to figure out what is cut ...

It is a wires plus ehc,HCM" Retrofit Kit for all EHC module , looks like a hack job though.

Welp, Wires Plus is no longer around. Shut down a few yrs back. Do as Paul suggests and go with the newer and improved ehc. Several to choose from nowdays. Wires Plus used to be the only option.
