I think the consensus is forward. It runs great both ways, so I guess I have the option of changing it.

The pipe are loud and have a deep sound to them. Not much decal pop at all.

Thanks everyone!

I tried running mine both ways. I like it pointing up but, It runs far better pointing forward. It is designed to be forward to funnel air into the carb, with it pointing up the air just cuts across the opening so less air and then you mess with the air fuel mixture and need to adjust accordingly

Can't speak for others but with mine pointed forward at 72 to 75mph always had a stumble. Rejetted several times and still had the same problem. Was told that at that speed the cone was deflecting the air. Pointed it up and no more problem and the bike runs better. For me up works better

I think the pro-street scoots look good pointed forward. Chopper models look good pointed up. The up look on pro-streets don't flow with the look as they do on the choppas...IMHO

I guess it's personal preference, I'll go with forward for now, and switch to up if I get bored with the look. I think I get more looks and comments with it up though.

Thanks for comments and compliments!
